Melissa Marie Ricks was born on January 09, 1990 Melissa is a Philippine-American she is the daughter of Kelly Ricks and Josie Ricks she became the runner-up in the reality talent search Star Circle Quest on ABS CBN.
In 2004, Melissa Ricks joined the reality talent search on ABS CBN’s Star Circle Quest. She was one of the top “Questors” or Magic circle 10 after a few weeks of training and she entered Magic Circle 5 on Grand Questors night she was declared as the fourth runner-up, she was joined here by Hero Angeles, Sandara Park, Roxanne Mr., and Joross Gamboa.

After that contest, Melissa Ricks guested on several TV shows on ABS CBN particularly in the youth-oriented drama and variety show ASAP ba natics, and was a big break for Melissa Ricks when she played the role of “MIAS” ka love team of “Perdro Penduko” in the Comic Fantasy series presents “The Adventure of Pedro Penduko” starring Matt Evans.
Melissa Ricks also starred in “Kambal sa Uma” an afternoon drama series on ABS CBN with Shaina Magdayao, Rio Locsin, Matt Evans and Jayson Abalos as well as in the primetime hit series “Tanging Yaman” with Erich Gonzales. Years passed, Melissa Ricks still had shows, but it only appeared on TV a few times. Coco Martin also worked in 2012 on “Walang Hanggan” as a villain in Julia Montes’ life.
Now Melissa Ricks is a single mom to her son by then non-showbiz boyfriend Charles Togezaki and named it Keira she gave birth to it in January 2015. And on the 29th of August 2020, she received one of the greatest surprises among women and this is the proposal to her by non-showbiz boyfriend Michael Macatangay who will be her future husband, right now Melissa is busy blogging and preparing for her upcoming wedding.
