The death of the Queen symbolizes the end of an era. She was the longest reigning queen in British history, ruling for more than 70 years. The news of her passing caused shockwaves around the world.
Most notably, the royal family has been unbroken for seventy years, and the monarch has also served as the family’s matriarch. They grieve their loss while also preparing for the future King’s coronation.

The world has been shocked by the Queen’s passing. 2 nights ago at her Scottish castle, Balmoral, the long-reigning monarch who governed the United Kingdom and other countries for more than 70 years took her last breath.
Elizabeth II, who was crowned in June 1953, is the only queen that the majority of Britons have ever known.
Elizabeth has lived through seven decades of American history, guiding the country through difficult periods dating all the way back to World War II. Her death certainly marks the end of an era.
The news of her passing weren’t entirely unexpected; in fact, the world was given some warnings. There were rumours that the Queen’s health was deteriorating the morning of her death. Doctors stated in a royal statement that they were “concerned” for her health.
It was obvious that the Queen was ready to leave this world when the news of her failing health became public and the majority of the family raced to be at her side.

Funeral arrangements have been carefully made for years, despite not being formally publicized. The Queen’s burial will undoubtedly be a sad event, suitable for the monarch with the longest reign in modern history.
Charles, her eldest son, would succeed her as king of England after her death, making him the first new ruler in England in more than 70 years.
She was undoubtedly the most well-known woman on the planet throughout her 70-year reign. The Queen’s legacy will survive because of the life she led and the service she rendered to her people.
It is also impossible to emphasize how much history she symbolized in her almost 100 years of existence: from WWII to Brexit, she served as England’s representative for almost all of the country’s pivotal events of the 20th and 21st centuries.

Meetings were held with 15 different prime ministers, ranging from Liz Truss, who had just been appointed, to Winston Churchill.
In addition to being Queen, she had a personal life as a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. The royal family was not exempt from political and familial conflict. They were unfortunate since their family’s conflicts frequently made news.

After Prince Harry married Meghan Markle, rumors of family conflict flourished. The situation worsened over time, and Prince Harry and Meghan Markle first stated their intention to leave their royal positions in 2020.
Initially, the pair had wanted to keep their positions, take on less official responsibilities, and move toward financial independence. They planned to “carve out a progressive new position inside this institution,” according to the statement they issued.
.
.
Buckingham Palace, however, didn’t take their announcement well. Officials from the palace soon declared that Harry and Meghan would no longer serve as the queen’s official representatives and would no longer be paid by the public for their royal responsibilities.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex finished up all of their remaining royal responsibilities in March 2020.

They were not precisely successful in achieving their goals of financial independence. The pair was quite open in a well-publicized interview with Oprah Winfrey.
Prince Harry said that his family had entirely cut him off financially. He said that in the first quarter of 2020, he did not get any money from his family and was forced to rely on the funds his late mother, Princess Diana, left behind to protect his family.
According to them, the pair had been planning to resign their titles for a while. The former royals discussed the impact their time serving as senior royals took on them in their interview with Oprah Winfrey, particularly Meghan.
Meghan Markle revealed to an obviously worried Oprah that she had even considered suicide at times. She considered receiving intensive therapy for herself, but Buckingham Palace rejected the idea, stating that it “wouldn’t be healthy for the institution.”
The obvious bigotry Meghan had to deal with from the British media and the Royal Family organization as a whole was another problem for the newlyweds.
Meghan and Harry think their son Archie’s denial of a title or security protection was caused by the frequent racist insults.
The couple disclosed that anonymous family members were frightened about the appearance of Harry’s pregnant kid and worried that the infant would be “dark-skinned.”
The fact that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were not shielded by the Royal Palace was another blow to the relationship.
Markle said that the palace neglected to dispel the misleading narrative and disprove these false charges and that the media had made false accusations about her being a “diva” and nasty to royal personnel.
In order to protect members of the royal family, she even went so far as to claim that the palace occasionally told lies, but would not divulge the truth in order to protect Meghan and Harry.
Harry also disclosed that the family had made hints that they wouldn’t have enough money to support Meghan Markle as well before being cut off financially. It appears that the Royal Family advised Meghan to keep acting.
Things between Meghan and her in-laws appeared to be getting worse over time when Prince Harry and Meghan moved their small family to the United States permanently.
Lilibet, the couple’s daughter, was born to Meghan in the US last year. The young child has never met a member of the royal family.
The royal family had earlier expressed excitement about seeing the little girl and the newest member of their family.
As the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Celebrations drew to a close, Lilibet finally had the opportunity to meet the monarch and the rest of her royal family.
The celebration of Queen Elizabeth’s amazing 70 years on the British monarchy was held at the beginning of June in London, England.
Trooping of the Color, a ceremony for which the Queen made an appearance on the balcony of Buckingham Palace, marked the start of the Platinum Jubilee festivities on Thursday, June 2.
The Queen was unable to attend the following day’s Thanksgiving ceremony due to the discomfort she had experienced the day before. She had to postpone her scheduled debut at the Epsom Derby on June 4 due to the same reason.
To celebrate her Platinum Jubilee with the millions of people who held celebrations and street lunches in towns and cities all around the UK, the Queen made another public appearance on Sunday, June 5.
The Queen expressed in an open letter written after her Jubilee that she was “humbled and deeply touched” by the events that took place all throughout the UK.
Unbelievably, four generations of royals saw the Trooping of the Colour from the balcony of Buckingham Palace.
Everyone was there, including Princess Alexandra, Princess Anne’s husband, Sir Timothy Laurence, Prince Charles, Kate Middleton, Prince William, and the children of the latter couple.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were surprisingly absent from the scene.
The Service of Thanksgiving at St. Paul’s Cathedral was among the few occasions the couple reportedly attended while maintaining a low profile. Harry and Meghan made their first public appearance in the UK following their departure from the Royal Family in 2020.
But the pair wasn’t allowed to participate in the Trooping of the Color. Only senior working royals were permitted a seat on the Buckingham Palace balcony to welcome the assembled masses, per the Queen’s request.
“After careful consideration, The Queen has decided this year’s traditional Trooping the Colour balcony appearance on Thursday 2nd June will be limited to Her Majesty and those Members of the Royal Family who are currently undertaking official public duties on behalf of The Queen,”.
Harry and Meghan sat in the Major General’s Office with other members of the Royal Family to observe the Trooping of the Colour. It’s unclear if Lilibet and Archie were accompanying them.
It was evident that nobody wanted the newlyweds to be the center of attention, least of all the Queen. That has even been put up as the genuine reason the Queen limited the members of the Royal Family who were allowed to stand on the balcony in the manner in which she did.
“They aren’t part of the [working] royal family anymore, and that’s a decision they have taken—but maybe [the public] hasn’t quite accepted that yet. Yes, they were low-key. They paid their respects and went home.”
According to reports, the pair did have some alone time with the Queen.
Archie and Lilibet, the couple’s two children, had traveled by plane to the UK; it was the first time Lilibet had ever been to her father’s country. According to sources, her parents celebrated their daughter’s first birthday with a party on Saturday, June 4.
At Frogmore Cottage, Meghan and Harry’s residence in the UK, a lawn picnic is rumored to have been planned. Misan Harriman, one of their friends, shared a lovely photo of the young girl enjoying her birthday.
Lilibet saw her great-grandmother Queen Elizabeth and her grandpa Prince Charles for the first time at the picnic at Frogmore Cottage.
They must have been happy to finally see Lilibet in person, but no pictures of their encounter with her were made public. The Queen reportedly prohibited Harry and Meghan from having a photographer present.
According to a source, “Harry and Meghan wanted their photographer to record the moment Lilibet greeted the Queen.” “But no chance, they were told. It was an exclusive family gathering.”
The Queen allegedly declined to take a picture with the young child because she had a bloodshot eye, according to royal authority Camilla Tominey. According to Tominey, the king refused to appear in any photos that would be shown to the public.
Tominey said that Harry was reported to have indicated a wish to take a picture of the two “at some point in the future.”
The royals were reluctant to acknowledge their role in Lilibet’s birthday party, according to Tominey.
William, Kate, and their three kids took a trip to Wales instead of going to their niece’s first birthday celebration.
Christopher Andersen, a royal insider, said that William and Kate “made no attempt at all” to introduce Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis to Lili and noted that there is still “a lot of tension” between Harry and Meghan and William and Kate.
Nobody, he added, “as far as I know, believes they spoke [to one another]” throughout the festivities.
It was not surprising that Meghan Markle did not join her husband Prince Harry to Balmoral Castle after learning of the Queen’s failing health and eventual death because of the strained relationship the two have always had with the royal family.
According to royal authority Katie Nicholl, Meghan Markle was not granted an invitation to stay in Balmoral with the royal family.
Even though Prince Harry was unable to get in Balmoral in time to visit his grandmother, it is thought that the family wanted him to attend, according to Nicholl, ET.
Nicholl said, “But Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, we hear, was not asked to join the family. “She has stated that she will visit Balmoral at a later date. However, I believe it is noteworthy that Prince Harry went to Balmoral without his wife.”
As the pair was scheduled to attend the WellChild Awards in London, Harry and Meghan had already arrived in the UK. When word of the Queen’s condition spread, the pair decided not to attend the ceremony, and Harry traveled by himself to Scotland.
Shortly after the announcement of the Queen’s passing, Harry’s airplane landed safely. He was observed driving to Balmoral in a black SUV while concealing part of his face with his hand, obviously trying to avoid being photographed.
Prince William, Prince Andrew, Prince Edwards, and his wife Sophie all came earlier on the morning of her health taking a turn for the worst, while the Queen’s son, now King Charles III, his wife, Camilla, the Queen Consort, and Princess Anne were all present in Scotland for different commitments.
If any royal family members were there when the Queen passed away cannot yet be confirmed.
Kate Middleton was in Windsor picking up her kids from school, so she was unable to accompany Prince William.
“The death of my beloved Mother, Her Majesty The Queen, is a moment of the greatest sadness for me and all members of my family,” the new king said.
“We mourn profoundly the passing of a cherished Sovereign and a much-loved Mother. I know her loss will be deeply felt throughout the country, the Realms and the Commonwealth, and by countless people around the world,” the statement continued.
“During this period of mourning and change, my family and I will be comforted and sustained by our knowledge of the respect and deep affection in which The Queen was so widely held,” it continued.
Undoubtedly, the Queen’s death signals the end of an era. Hopefully, the royal family will come together now and put the past behind them.
