Barcelona is preparing to start a new season, and everyone is waiting with great anticipation for the Catalan team’s moves in the summer transfer market in order to enter the Mercato and sign several deals to restore the balance that Barcelona lost last season.
Barcelona had dismissed Xavi and appointed German coach Hansi Flick in his place, hoping that the German genius would be able to extricate Barcelona from this difficult situation it is going through at the technical level.
According to information received from the Spanish newspaper Sport, Pep Guardiola, the legendary Barcelona coach, contacted Flick and gave him advice about the Barcelona star before the start of the new season.
The newspaper added that Guardiola asked Flick not to repeat Xavi’s mistake with Gundogan and that he was playing in the focal position, even though the German star’s abilities explode when he plays as playmaker number 10 close to the goal.
