Spanish press reports revealed that the Atletico Madrid first-team football star is seeking to move to Barcelona during the current summer transfer period.
Barcelona is seeking to re-correct its situation and sign several deals and world-class players in order to help the Catalan team ascend the podium again.
Spanish journalist Mateo Moreto said that the priority of Portuguese Joao Felix and his agent Mendes is to move to the Catalan team and reject all offers coming from Portugal and the Premier League.
The journalist added that Hansi Flick gave the green light to Barcelona’s management to finalize the contract with the Portuguese player, whether by renewing the loan or purchasing it permanently.
Moreto added that the Portuguese club Benfica asked about the player, but without an official offer yet, but Felix informed his agent not to discuss these offers pending Barcelona’s final decision regarding his fate.
