Barcelona coach Xavi Hernandez spoke about his team’s match against Almeria tomorrow, Wednesday, in the 18th round of the Spanish League.
Xavi said in a press conference on Tuesday evening: “What we are looking for is to always strengthen the team. With Javi’s injury, we need a player of this type, but contracting him is difficult.”
He also spoke about the possible confrontation between the two upcoming stars of Barcelona and Real Madrid, Vitor Roque and Endrik, Xavi said: “They are two players with very high expectations. Let’s see what happens.”
He concluded: “It is too early to say that I hope that the Vitor Roque deal will be at the level of Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo.”
The Brazilian player coming to Barcelona in January received praise from his Spanish coach, Xavi Hernandez, who expects the player to one day reach the level of the super duo Cristiano and the Argentine legend Messi.
